Massive jump in comp for Lopez if this happens, but they say Beterbiev wants to stay active, instead of waiting around for Bivol.

He should be applauded for putting his ego aside and wanting to remain active. The whole "A-side" thing is part of what keeps fighters inactive.

Never seen Lopez, but after a boxrec, I see a Puerto Rican flag so I assume he'll get KO'd by the 40 year old.

Beterbiev has no choice but to stay active, he needs to use it or he will lose it at his age. Bivol might be doing a mini-Canelo by aging Beterbiev a little bit.

More like, why even have a 3rd fight since Bivol won the first two?

Why do we need these trilogies? It's just a money grab by promoters or whomever. It's like how so many movies now are just ****** remakes of cool old movies, because its easier to ride on the coattails of earlier successes instead of creating new stories.

And if I was Bivol, knowing I can't KO Beterbiev, I'm not sure I'd risk it again with the judges; so far he's only had a 50/50 chance with that.

When we finally get fights I want to see, I dont want to see them three times.
