First first title reign was a WBA secondary belt, it doesn't count. Ryoichi Taguchi had the real WBA belt when Canizales won the fake belt, and Hiroto Kyoguchi had it when Canizales lost his fake belt to Esteban Bermudez. Bermudez then challenged Kyoguchi and lost.

In real world title fights this was his first win:
D vs Ryoichi Taguchi SD 12 for the WBA 108 title
L vs Kenshiro Teraji MD 12 for the WBA/WBC/TBRB/Ring/lineal 108 world championship
L vs Panya Pradabsri MD 12 for the WBC 108 title (flagrant robbery)
W vs Panya Pradabsri KO 5 for the WBC 108 title

While I agree that these secondary belts are ridiculous, I wouldn't call the others "real world titles". They're still just alphabet belts. You're not a real world champion until you win the linear title, ala the Ring belt.

The Ring belt is not a real title anymore and hasn't been for a long time. The Ring is nothing more than a promotional tool of the Saudi government.

The TBRB is the legitimate world championship.

I've always been a big Canizales fan, he's a legit warrior and the best fighter left at 108 imo
