Yawn. Typical gimme defense. Diaz has never done anything to earn one shot at a belt, much less a third now. Durable, but that's about it.

Honestly not the best nor a tough match up for Nunez, but at least Sugar is keeping busy. It's against a settled Super Featherweight that had a tune up after his loss to Henry Lebron.

Would had preferred if he defended against Henry Lebron or Kenichi Ogawa. But do think Nunez deserves having a fight at home, as he fought in the home territory of both Rakhimov and Rikiishi.

Hoping that if Nunez beats Diaz early or doesn't receive any punishment, he could fight again in December. Against someone like Ogawa, Magnesi, Lebron or Zaurbek.

Hoping that Rafael Espinoza somehow, fights as a co-main if it was possible. Nunez has a stablemate that will appear in the upcoming years as a contender in Super Featherweight called Miguel Esparza, this could help him catapult himself. A fight against former champion in the downslide like Hector Garcia.

Losing to Lebron and beating a 9-10-0 fighter gets you a title fight?????

Will be a fun action fight for as long as it lasts, fair first defense at home for Nunez, but the next defense needs to be a higher level guy
