  • Comments Thread For: Bruce Carrington is clinical, if not concussive, in besting Mateus Heita

It wasn?t quite the ?Shu Shu Show,? but Bruce Carrington's lopsided points win over Mateus Heita on Saturday in New York was more than enough to continue his winning ways.

the Rios fight was interesting and had more to offer then anything else i saw on the card i even thought he edged it out by aggression and consistantcy...... but what do i know all i did was watch it the fight and it felt close, it felt like a fight to me...............the rest of the card not so much............others were more tentative and just mechanical.

"Shu Shu" just went to decision vs a below average guy with a padded record, for a meaningless interim title.

He's already in his late 20's and hasn't done anything significant.

Can someone explain why this guy is even mentioning guys like Inoue?

*btw previously, when Inoue was asked if he went to the fight to see Shu Shu fight.
he told the interviewer, he had no idea who that was. lol.

Honestly didn't see anything special in what Shoe Shoe did tonight.
Despite Tim Bradley cheerleading for him.

Doesn't suprise me how flashy he looked vs a slow opponent like that.
Whatever it is, it that aint gonna work vs guys like Fulton, Esponiza, Leo...

He talks a big game for someone who hasn't even been invited to the big boy's table yet.

That's all I was thinking as I dozed off and realized I'll never stay awake for the main event. Shu shu is really calm and technically sound but my God he's boring!!!!

I couldn't have stated it better myself. Carrington is a cherry picker and a hype job. And a big mouth to boot.

                    I agree.

Top Rank might want to re- assess their investment in Navarro.
Although he talks the talk and has a supreme confidence in his abilities.

This is the second guy they drag up from the smaller weights who touches up the kid and rocks him.

Plus the fact that a few of his prior stoppages were Very questionable.
