I was completely on the Boots bandwagon and now I got a foot off of it. He needs to fight better fighters even if he got paid less than what he thinks he deserves. He has had one of the most mismanaged careers for such a fighters that appears to have a lot of talent, some of his issues was timing also at his weight class.

Don't know where some here get that he ducked Crawford when he didn't want the fight because Bud wanted to get paid at this stage of his career.

Allegedly Eddie has made an offer to Josh Kelly. Makes sense in a little if ways; Kelly's high ranking, fighting a Brit should increase Boots exposure but only really if it's part of a bigger fight event

Blk prime literally offered him Crawford and he turned it down.

Woulda been a career high payday as well as a shot at becoming champ with 2 titles instead he turned it down. You either in denial or plain dumb

If Crawford wanted that fight he could had fought him instead of waiting for a rematch against Spence, going on idle and then fighting at 154. When Crawford had the IBF title he was suppose to defend it against Boots, the rematch clause against Spencer got him stripped of the title, a rematch that never happened. Crawford's words about Ennis "I'm looking for bigger and better opportunities"

Apparently you only take what you want to hear and run with it. That was the fight that was supposed to be made at 147 and never got traction.

He can't make the weight, same way Ortiz couldn't make weight due to chorizo

Good question and you are going to hate the answer.

My understanding is that Hearn tried to make a fight with Bohachuk at 154 but they turned it down. Bozy asked Hearn for a tuneup, Eddie was considering Madrimov but then sent an offer to Josh Kelly that Kelly's team said was dirt low. Now Kelly's team is going after Bakhram or Xander for a belt. After Vigil's hand surgery Robert Garcia said that they're no longer chasing a fight with Boots Ennis. Turki wants that fight and I'm sure he'll put up the money but apparently that isn't enough because both camps believe here are lucrative, winnable fights at 154lbs and the Saudi backed showdown will still be there.

I hate to say it, but if I'm correct...Virgil vs Jaron won't be until late 2026
