In the end, Bozy Ennis was not willing to risk his 26 year old son for peanuts with a prime killer like Crawford constrained to a Showtime exclusive.... because that's what was on the table. I thought it Bozy made the right call and said so at the time.
Jaron's Career is going to change, he's is in a stacked division with a benefactor willing to put up the money. IMO, this is Jaron's time, he's young but the planets are in line and if I'm correct, Jaron and going to show the world just how good he really is.

Eddie does promote, can't say he doesn't talk a lot and also put in the work.
Also, can't blame Matchroom for Ennis' team turning down an Ortiz Jr fight, but hopefully they'll do it this year.
Other than Vergil, it's Bakhram, Fundora and the winner of Xander and Jorge Garcia that are good opponents.

Ortiz vs Ennis can be massive if done correctly, bigger then Spence vs Crawford but that's still few fights away. Both guys are just in their late 20's. For the sake of practicality, Ennis needs to get his name back to the top of the list, get a belt and then set up a big, big money fight with OrtizLast edited by factsarenice; 07-26-2025, 02:12 PM.Knuckle sandwich likes this.

The PBC is still reeling from the Spence loss and can't afford to risk Fundora's belt to Jaron Ennis so that's probably not on the table. Instead they'll have Fundora fight Keith, Spence, Lubin or rematch Mendoza. Speaking of Mendoza, he and Bohachuk are walk forward fighters and that works well for Ennis, the fact that Bohachuk fought Ortiz to a standstill doesn't hurt either. Bakhram is on a island with Cathy Duva and nobody wants to fight him after the Tim Tszyu beating. Xander Zayas is brave like Ortiz but he has to get past Garcia and I don't think Arum is too kin on Xander vs Ennis.Last edited by factsarenice; 07-26-2025, 03:49 PM.

looks like boots is happy to be a very careful picker of his fights hes had plenty of chances all through his career to take on the hardest best challenge available and took literally zero of those chances lol its not hard to see surely its just how it is with him eddie suits him perfect actually
