4 years after the move up to heavyweight, former cruiserweight champ David Haye was the first guy to KO Derek Chisora - and in brutal fashion. In round 5 he caught him with a counterpunch off the ropes which dropped Chisora like a sack of potatoes. Chisora had previously fought both Vitali Klitschko and Tyson Fury who both went the distance. To this day, Chisora is still seen as one of the toughest guys. Usyk himself was unable to stop Chisora when they fought. At the time Chisora fought Haye he was trained by Don Charles.
Fast forward 13 years and another Don Charles fighter, Daniel Dubois, gets stopped by another former cruiserweight Usyk in exactly 5 rounds again, with a brilliant counterpunch KO. The difference - Dubois had been stopped twice before, by Joyce and by Usyk himself. Chisora on the other hand, was seen as almost unstoppable at the time Haye beat him.
So which former cruiserweight really had the MORE IMPRESSIVE KO - David Haye or Oleksandr Usyk?
