Lubin has talent, alot of tools, and good overall boxing skills but he is too chinny and it will result in him being ko'd here. Like the Allan Green of his era, got close but don't think he'll ever make it to the top.

Hes a fkn monster, and as long as he doesnt fight during Ramadan, and they dont wait till hes too old like they did to Govolkin, he is going to beat everyone in the division.
Tszyu, who was beat out of his sense, already fought twice since then. And Murt's next fight still hasn't even happened. What are they doing with this guy?
Get him in with somebody. There must be names who would agree, plenty of people are sitting on the shelf and waiting for action.Sallywynder likes this.

Crawford: Fighting Canelo for mega millions in the biggest fight of his career, but he should fight a guy nobody has ever heard of.
Fundora: Just had a rematch with Tszyu, for big $. After Fundora won the first fight he said he'd give Tim a rematch and he honored it like a man. But, no he shouldn't have done that.
Zayas: Fighting for the belt Fundora had to let go of in order to fight Tszyu. Zayas was Fundora's mandatory. So, he's already fighting for a belt. But he should fight Murtazaliev now instead of unifying with him?
Ortiz: Legitimately could/should fight Murtazaliev. I don't know why he didn't take the fight. But, I doubt he's scared.
Lubin: ACTUALLY fighting Murtazaliev!
Mall Charlo: Jermall fights in the 168 lb division, so naturally, he's ducking 154 lb champ Murtazaliev.
Norman: Unified 147 lb champion, but somehow he's ducking the 154 lb champ Murtazaliev.
The more you write, the more I think you don't know boxing.

You could be right about Bozy, but I never heard Boots speak on Mell.
He chased Crawford , and ESJ. Screaming on the mountain top to fight them
But he has yet to seek out Mell.
Now that would be a technical chess match to see who makes the 1st mistake, and the other capitalize, and be aggressive.

Would be a great fight between them.

I suggest anybody thinking Murtazaliev is the boogeyman at 154 - or even one of the best in the division - check out the full fight of Murtazaliev vs Culcay at All The Best Fights dot com. You'll see Murtazaliev go life and death for 11 rounds with the 39 year old Culcay (33-4 with 14 KO's coming in to this fight). There is NO WAY you'll come away thinking fighters like Boots, Fundora, Ortiz, or even Thurman wouldn't destroy him.
