there's no point in floyd fighting an inferior fighter like pacquiao. pacquiao would not only need a few more fights to prove himself, but way more years of experience to at least become a respectable and deserving opponent.

manny pacquio hasn't proved himself in the ww division yet and it's obvious the cotto fight won't help his cause either. imagine how he'll look once he gets knocked out on the 14th? does he deserve a shot at a guy like floyd, when he didn't even deserve it in the first place? i'd be a boring fight cause floyd would ridicule him due to his superior skills and overall talent. pacquiao is not on that level yet, cotto is however. can't wait for talks about cotto-mayweather after the pac fight.
