I like Fundora but this is a bit of revisionist history. From the opening bell I could see Sebastian was going to need his hard hat and lunch-pail. Tim was unusually dialed in and damaging him from round one. Tim’s right couldn’t miss, busted up Fundora’s nose. Tim got a bit flustered and but held up well given the volume of blood. In hindsight, this also could have very well played into the madness of the Bert fight. Tim thought he was indestructible.
Fundora is a special kind of arrogant. He has six inches reach and a foot in height on everyone in the division and his freakish genetics allow him to make weight. Yet he acts like he is an incredible boxer with massive skill. His dad's famous last words right before Mendoza flattened him...."He thinks he is doing something". Lol.
The whole family seems arrogant. Hopefully Tszyu stays away from the switchblade elbows being thrown at the top of his head and he crumples this big goofy weenie.
The fact this guy can’t see he got kissed on the d*** by that lucky elbow is remarkable. Tim beat the s*** out of him for two rounds and the fight turned after the cut happened I mean come on kid. Tbh we still have to see how Tim has recovered from that knockout loss. This fight can go either way.
A lot of boxers are delusional about their wins and losses, but in this case Fundora's arrogance is just too much, taking into consideration his evident vulnerabilities, which include his skills.
Tszyu isn't that different in the delusional department, but he was definitely beating Fundora's ass and the decision wasn't that clear. He should beat Fundora unless that Murtazaliev fight really took it from him. We're about to see.
So in his mind the terrible cut that Tim had didn't affect the fight? He should be praising how lucky he was that the fight came out that way.
On the other side, Tim was KOed bad and can still be showing the effects. He has a leaky defense and it might have caught up to him early in his career.
