Just seems that there should be a way to get results right away. Test right before the fight, get instant results. Cancel the fight if a fighter pops positive and heavily fine that fighter.

That will never happen. There are too many things to be tested for to be able to get instant results , more importantly canceling fights at the last minute would cost the money men too much . The fans wouldn't be too happy about it either. The idea is good but the implementation wouldn't work.

Feel for him. Battered around the ring by someone juiced up to the gills.

Give him a tue and all is well. Jannik sinner just won wimbledon after using peds. Like everything in life ped testing is just a way for the powerful to regulate the poweless. It was never intended to catch cheating but to protect the powerful fighters.

that dont mean that certain restrictions and punishments can not be laid down....... if the punishment dont meet the infraction then all will continue to use whatever it takes to make the money and improve there records and earnings..... boxing could do plenty in this area but wont it is another dirty secret kept in plain view. We may get disguested about it but the money men and platforms do not care enough to impose and real punishments.....it is like the six o'clock news after a while you get numb to it......

He didn't 'use' peds - you know the story - he popped twice 8 days apart with 1 billionth of a gram in him - half life is 24-34 hours - even 2 months before he would have had less than 1/10,000th of a gram in his body - not efficacious use - his explanation was accepted and he took the fine and 3 months ban for unknowingly having the agent in his body - the Rodriguez case is seemingly very different

Terrible story. I feel for him. To be battered by someone juiced up like that is simply criminal. Penalties should be much harsher for drug cheats like that. I think they should consider jail time and purses should not be paid until testing all clear is received. Testing times need to be accelerated so that everybody knows the results quickly.

The BBBofBS and UKAD knew that Whyte peed green before the Rivas fight. We know what happened there.
