    Unless he secures a mandatory spot nobody is rushing to fight him unless they have to. He is not an easy fighter and spoils the other fighter's strengths.

      He's a clever boxer, but doesn't have enough pop to trouble top guys at 147. I don't even think he beats Barrios.

          Think Barboza will do just fine at Welterweight which is currently a lackluster division with few notable names.

          He has more odds of getting knocked out though, his dimensions and punching power not being as affective, but he has a quite awkward style that disrupts fighters, has pretty good timing and he won't be struggling from the weight cut. His stamina was already pretty good though. The move up might benefit punch resistance too.
