If Matias can take Smith's counters then absolutely, but everyone who's tried to come forward against Smith so far has been slaughtered. I do think Puello's length offers a harder matchup for Smith, at least stylistically

I think Smith has solidified his number 1 position pretty solidly with the WBC procedures, I'd be very surprised with anything other than an immediate defence ordered within 90 days
