Got to the number one slot quickly — only 6-0. But I’d love to see Andy get his crack at a belt sooner rather than later.

The IBF with a worthy mandatory challenger, now that is a rarity.

He has more fights than everyone else, has competed on a global scale so having that amount of fights doesnt matter. He is the typical overhyped Cuban that does well but nothing special. He also turns into a runner and hugger the moment he gets in trouble. Typical Afro Cuban boxer. He was also pampered by the Cuban Revolution by receiving free training and food, contrary to all other fighters from Latin America. He is also a traitor in Cuba so his fans are in Miami and his haters too.

I’ve yet to see Cruz hug and run. There has been no need to in his fights. He’s always been in control. There aren’t too many special fighters out there, otherwise the term would have no meaning. Andy is good enough to be champ in his division. That’s good enough for me. And Cruz isn’t a traitor to anyone, not even the commies back home; he’s allowed to visit his family whenever he wants. The only thing you’ve said that has any substance is the fact that Andy received special treatment as an athlete in Cuba. But the country is such a wreck that even that doesn’t mean all that much anymore.
