Paulie was in the wrong era, he was better suited in the Benny Leonard era. He was a big overachiever though.

His best moment was being the first high profile boxing figure to expose Al Haymon when he said, "Al Haymon manipulates everything. What Al Haymon wants Al Haymon gets."

Haymon later bought Paulie off and got him a TV job on Showtime by manipulating his puppet Espinoza. Paulie then became a Haymon shill.
