Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall and a supposedly fun thing he?ll never do again
Though it made a lot of sense for Jack Catterall and Harlem Eubank to fight, that didn't mean the fight was going to be any good, writes Elliot Worsell.

Stop it Elliot. This isn't the demograph that swoons over your floral prose, effete similes & marshmallow metaphors.
We are but simple souls who enjoy the oft brutal entertainment of two humans trying to beat each other into oblivion. Surely you can see the irony in trying to arouse the sensibilities of those that crave to witness the deliverance of insensibility?
If you insist on writing in a historical style I would suggest you aim for H S Thomson or William Burroughs, not to be confused with William Wordsworth.

Man, give him a break! A crappy fight between 2 crap fighters... He's doing his best to make reading about it a little bit interesting.
Interesting to use an incompatible romantic coupling as a metaphor for awkward and boring matchup between Catterall/Eubank.
There have been a few matchups I remember that I was salivating over only to be disappointed on the lack of fireworks. Provodnikov vs Matthysse was one, I thought Lomachenko and Teo would have offered more violence than it did.
As for Eubank and Catterall, I can't say that I'm not surprised the pairing produced the result they did.
It was so bad that I turned it off in the middle of round four , and I am a serious junkie , I shoot this boxing shlt up with a roofing nail and a hose , but I'm not into watching two guys have a pose off ala Zoolander. Not my cup of coffee. If I never see either of these two guys again it will be too soon.
