Hopkins/Trinidad is a prime example of Foreman's nuthuggery of anybody who can ****.

He gave Hopkins 0 credit for that whatsoever, and turned literally every discussion (even discussions about Hopkins masterful performance) into a discussion about Tito's power.

I hope he never calls a fight again for the rest of his life.

Lampley : Bernard Hopkins is showing no signs of slowing down.
Foreman : Yeah he is, he's showing plenty of signs.
      Lampley : Like what, George?
Foreman : When he went back to his corner he stretched his legs out like that, he's tired, Trinidad's pwer is effecting him.

Merchant : George, you're not giving Hopkins any credit. I think he's fighting an excellent fight.
Foreman : He is, but Trinidad is just dangerous. He can't afford to get careless with this guy. (After Hopkins has dominated Tito for 6 rounds straight)

He even made some dumbass comments about how since Hopkins was fighting off the ropes, that meant that Trinidad was breaking him down.

You'd think "Big" George would be aware that just because a guy is laying on the ropes, it doesn't mean he's being broken down.

        Nope.

I don't care about his opinion, but the guy ****** **** as a commentator. That's the truth.

I'll take Jones over him any day of the week.

The only other boxer who commentated on a fight that I can think of who was worse than George, was Tyson the one time he commented on Showtime.

And uhm....definitely Lennox Lewis, you know? He liked to talk about the jab....and uhm.....you know........definitely.

I LOVED having Foreman. He may have not made any sense but he was funny; wasn't even trying to be neither. In the bold, VERY TRUE. I was like WTF! give B-Hop credit.

Yeah george has a thing against fighters that go to the ropes..Probly brings back bad memories...lol. He said the same thing in the Castillo fight where Mayweather went to the ropes.

You got off easy. You think RJJ would have gave him credit for beating welterweights?

At least he beat the Welterweights. Unlike Gatti.

                  George was just....dumb, to me.

If you weren't some vicious ****er, he gave you 0 respect.

And sometimes he thought certain guys who weren't ****ers, were. Like Erik Morales.

Granted Terrible had a solid punch, but he was also a very underrated boxer. But George was in love with him because he thought he was a mini-Tito.

Your right Gatti fought solid competition who was his own size.

Dont hate Foreman because he liked exciting fighters. Nobody wants to see Hopkins hold 100 times a fight, then cry for a decision.

I'm not going to disrespect the memory of Gatti, by disecting his record, even though I never was a fan of his.

                      So whatever.
