JT was built up by HBO and dibella and then unceremoniously dumped.

if JT was developed in the right way he might have been something more, but he rushed... he went from fighting 154 lbers to fighting hopkins...

he was fighting 2x a year... that's not enough to develop the skills and mentality he needed to beat guys like hops and pavlik and AA.

he's not a throwback in that sense.

I keep on telling myself if JT gets koed by AA then he is done. I respect the man but after getting brutally knocked out 3 times in the last 3 years it definitely shows his deterioration. I've always known Taylor as a hard puncher/boxer, but his punches barely dented Arthur. I think he needs to hang up those gloves.
