When did I ever say it was?
Fact is ; there are some things one can learn simply by observing the sport of boxing that will benefit you in a fighting situation. Things the general public at large is completely unaware of.
Things like how to hold your hands properly, how to maintain a solid base with your feet, how to throw straight punches, the importance of a jab, etc...
You don't need to be a professional boxer to understand any of that. Saying you do is complete ignorance.
Simply observing and practicing on your own will put you at an advantage against the average douche on the streets who holds his hands low, swings wide, and can't keep a base for ****.
Okay.
I didn't even ask it.
The thread starter did.

Straight right hand before they know it's coming. Keep 'em short, fast and straight- step on their toes and get inside. GG. I wouldn't really throw a jab unless the right hand doesn't knock them down/out.
It's street fighting, not boxing. And btw, this is the wrong thread to ask this in, because most of these ******s never stepped in a ring before, and probably haven't been in too many street fights either.
