Why is it ok to support fighters from your country but not your ethnicity?

It's fine to support people who are the same nationality as you but then people get angry when fans support fighters of their own ethnicity.



For the record I support neither I support my favourite fighters. Why is nationalism accepted but racism opposed?

I don't understand this? what is a ''white person'' big difference between a greek and a swedish person. You country represent your culture, language and history, it houses your family. worth being proud about. The color of the skin carries nothing.

Humans are inherently tribal. There's nothing racist about it fool.

yeah I personally dont get that if my neighbor was a boxer why I should blindly root for him but to each their own. It clearly a very common thing to do, no big deal but it clouds judgement so can be annoying in the discussion forum setting.
