My 12 year old who lives in the world of online games 24/7 does not know anything about boxing - but he knows who Jake Paul is. My cleaning lady who does not know anything about boxing and cannot name one current world champion in any division, watched Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson. The power of social media. Enough said.

The power of ignorant people who are more interested in a name, not realizing JP lost to the only professional boxer, Tommy Fury he has faced. Chavez Jr, is the laziest pot head ever to box.
So who can fit the bill next for ignorant people? Larry Holmes or Jerry Conwy would fit his agenda perfectly. If any sanctioning body ranks JP, nobody can argue that sanctioning bodies and corrupt judging control the sport.
Jake is coming off of a fight against a 58 year old that didn’t throw anything for eight 2 minute rounds at heavyweight.
And now he had to shed down to 200 or below to fight someone with experience who knows the stakes and who has his father poking him non-stop…in a fight that’s going to be contested at ten 3 minute rounds.
I’ve always been of the belief that going to Jake’s chin is not the game plan…it’s the body. I give Jake credit for putting the work in to internalize the sport and actually box notable people, as well as appreciate what he’s done for Amanda Serrano’s career, but to me I think he would absolutely gas out against a dedicated body puncher.
If Julio is prepared (which he should be), even a past prime Julito should be able to tire him out down the stretch and wear him down.
And for anyone’s that superstitious, Jake Paul is an honorary Puerto Rican, and when you’re Puerto Rican, your chances of being beat by a Mexican increase by 25-30%.
I’m being half serious, but seriously…Chavez I think should pull this off. Paul is shedding down, Julio is a body puncher with Mexico spurring him on in an arena full of Mexicans…and Paul is not going to stand his ground. If he lets Chavez roll forward and tries to fight in the back foot and on be fleet-footed, he is going to gas out.

The two worst orgs, WBA & WBC are both considering (likely will rank him) ranking him if he wins this. lol
