thats what me and my mates done a few weeks back i started an Anger thread about it wanting help. well we had 3 1 minute rounds but with no headgear it was pretty brutal, still no-one came out of it in a really bad state.

How did you end up doing? Were you effective without the anger?

i got past the first round quite easily the guy just swung aimlessly and i easily picked him off with jabs and solid straights. I got beat in the second round mainly beacause the guy i was boxing was far bigger height wise, and even though he had no technique unlike the first round i was getting hit a lot and ended up losing on decision. Still was an alright night but never again unless with proper headgear cause a solid punch to your face sure does shake you up a little.

Good stuff. I'm working on my slipping in the gym now. I also am getting hit to much. I have heavy hands but a poor sense of punch avoiding. Do you guys train in boxing or is it just you guys pounding on each other?

Funny story if you would like to here it.

We were like 10-11 years old and we had 5 boys living in an area in rural michigan. It was the country. anyway, there was a shed at our house where there were found two mattresses. So we cleaned up the shed and layed the two matresses on the floor

....I was a little scared through this part of your story!!

hey guys sorry i wasnt able to respond to any of this for while i have been really busy!!!!

we use 16 oz. sparring gloves, and headgears and mouthguards

oh ya and fo ur question jack tha rippuh
for the style of each fighter it would matter on wich fighter ur talkin about and who theyre fightin, say a big guy fights a small guy, hell try to over power him in a slug fest, but say that same big guy fights a bigger guy hell prob try to box him

                    cms
