It will be a fun fight until Brian Norman knocks Sasaki out. Watching tape on him , he does nothing that Norman can't deal with. He's slow , robotic , does the same things over and over , and his career is all smoke and mirrors. There are plenty of excellent Japanese boxers operating these days , Sasaki isn't one of them.

So this fight would be on June 19, Thursday, and it will begin at 4 a.m. Eastern Time.

Got it. Looking forward to taking a half day off from work.

ESPN + will have it On Demand in case you don't feel like getting up early. You can watch it when you get up normally. You run the risk of inadvertently seeing fight results though.

what i like about the cards out of Japan is they usually turn the fights over real fast not as much chatter as in other cards in the States as long as i catch the fights somewhat early or Live ----- the later i watch the fights the more commercials they insert into the whole cards..........

Thats not what the Japanese are depending on. What Sasaki does will be magnified in his hometown. This is everywhere, not only Japan. Sasaki will get boxing points for backing up and agression points for going foreward, all close rounds. 2 points for home town and 1 point for island. That's a lot for Norman.

I think people are overrating Norman too much. He's more technical than Sasaki for sure, but he gets hit a lot.
Sasaki also packs a much better punch than guys like Santillan.

One thing Sasaki got is timing and power. He's a counter puncher.

I think the X-factor will also be Sasaki's relentlessness. It's gonna be physically draining for Norman to fight this guy.
Norman is obviously gonna work off the jab, and we'll see how Sasaki plans to get inside.

Japan have a history of robbing their home fighters. Japan is by far the best place to fight on the road because it’s very rare to see home-town decisions.
