Comments Thread For: De La Hoya's ?Clapback? takes aim at Reynoso, Canelo and Dana White

Oscar De La Hoya?s ?Clapback Thursday? went on a brief hiatus as the promoter and Hall of Fame fighter waited for boxing events to inspire a return episode.

I don't see Boxingscene doing an article on Oscar's clapback videos when he is roasting PBC and its affiliates. This is more of a Propaganda publication than real journalism.

Absolutely buzzing that we’ll be able to watch it in the UK at a reasonable time.

I had forgotten that Crawford hasn't fought in a year (ring rust), going to be 38 years old soon and technically, Crawford is really moving up 3 weight classes since he's only had 1 fight at 154 (need more than 1 fight for the body to acclimate to a new weight class).

This fight has all the earmarks of being fraudulent, I don't understand how some people can't see that they're being scammed with this match.

Also, moving boxing to the afternoon to accommodate the lackluster UFC event was a dumb move, seems Turki still has much too learn about promoting.

His point about Reynoso is valid.

Very strange that such a high number of his athletes are popping for PEDs.

The truth is, they have no fighters … I’ve never been happier to trade calls with [fellow boxing promoters] Eddie Hearn and Al Haymon, because guess what?

                  “We aren’t going anywhere.”

I like Oscar and GBP, but what are you really saying regarding the promotions.

Haymon hijacked a good portion of GBP's fighters and the company has not been the same since (not the only reason). And all of a sudden, you are gushing about making calls with that same entity because you don't like Dana White?

While these guys weren't working with each other, a brand new sport emerged right along side all of this BS and is now potentially more popular than boxing in the US, in just 10 years. It really goes to show how much the people in boxing have F'd this up. So much food left on the table, so many untapped fans that could have been made.

I don't think it's too little too late, so hopefully we can get everyone on the same competitive page and get to making the fights.

Oscar is pointing out an elephant in the room - Eddy Reynoso and six of his fighters busted for PEDs. Cannot be a coincidence. It is a clear pattern that casts a very big shadow on Canelo and all of his friends from the same gym. Eddy is clearly involved and facilitating the whole thing.
