if Crawford supposedly walks around 186lbs and always looks remotely the same, then which fighter proved to be better, faster? I’d say Bivol would beat any version of Spence….

So you say Crawford is as big as Bivol. Why doesn`t he fight at 175?

Would anybody put money on Crawford against Bivol?

Bivol rehydrates to 190lbs at LHW. It's said that Beterbiev is about 197lbs.I 'm just curious how much body fat Bud has ever since he posted pics about himself walking around 185lbs. Bud walks around the same for the last 8 years. This isnt the first time Team Crawford disclosed 185lbs. I mean shaving off 40lbs from his walk around weight to his fight night seems very false and most likely malicious. Do fans realize how much of a difference 40lbs is from a gym rat? lol

I know that modern day boxing wants to do a SRL vs LaLonde. But even SRL was taller than Bud... I just feel that with all this dark money being given to American or UK stars that it's possible that Bud's team have been showing false scales. 186lbs on a scale and seeing Crawford as of late in the gym it looks like total bullshet tbh. Bud has almost no body fat. I think Team Crawford want to help hype the fight with these false justifications

I would just love to see Crawford fighting Bivol at 175.

Cmon you know the game. That’s in 2017. For better context for those mentioned, Bud was fighting Felix Diaz at 140 and walking around the same like 2 years ago. Bivol wasn’t as heavy in 2017 as today, such as walk around and rehydration. U know it gets harder as they age

From the eye test Bivol looks too big if you put them side by side. The speed would be drastically different. Bivol’s physique compliments the speed and power.

the reason noone can supply proofs of these guys ring weights presently is that for some odd reason noone knows anymore now that hbo have gone and we just have leaks every now and then, everything else is pure speculation, for example noone knows for sure what canelos ring weight is, probably 180 - 185 region but it would be great to know this stuff to put an end to canelo butt sniffers telling us hes tiny at every weight class hes in for a starters anyway
Your opinion is transparent and correct, but if you’re an athlete and practitioner or former gym rat then one would assess the eye test. For example, in boxing, “drained” COULD be synonymous to an average of 20lbs. However some of the newest talents or none new can endure a 25lb weight cut. This was so bad in the UFC (with some fighters on average doing up to 30lbs with lowkey PEDS that snitches were leaking info) that its regulations had to change.

David Benavidez recently said himself, and props for him for admitting it, but he literally said he’s 195lbs on fight night after Gvozdyk. I promise u said this in an interview and David is a sincere guy. What are we to believe that he was referring strictly to 168 or 175? At the end of the day it’s still 20lbs he’s cutting on fight week to hit the scales. So if he’s 195lbs against a Gvozdyk or Morrell then his walk around weight is EASILY and at least 220lbs. He has countless videos looking bloated with love handles, hitting a bag on the off season. Sampson Lewkotwitz just disclosed that Keyshawn was planning to rehydrate 25lbs against De Los Santos. Why would Sampson say that or know this?! Ding ding ding, he’s David’s Promoter. He knows exactly about weight cuts. It was said that David vs Roamer Angulo he was 171lbs and he lost his belt. That’s a 3lb advantage from 168. Keyshawn was 4lbs. Where’s the uproar for comparison? U also know Sulaiman said Haney was rehydrating 25lbs on fight night against Lomachenko.

fans need to accept that many still 25lbs rehydrations. That’s the point why sometimes there are morning weigh in limits…

Any doubt about the eye test then do the basics in looking at the fighter on the weigh in to fight night. If cheek bones are protruding, eye sockets sunken in, waist and abs extremely cut, all while the boxer rehydrates softer in tone then one can assume they’ve accomplished an average 15-25lbs cut. I’m actually envious of this sweet science because it’s also enduring the pain to make drastic weight cuts. Some industry people are against this because the fighter is doing more harm than good.

so you mentioned Canelo. Let me again mention Bud and Canelo. Bud’s weigh in with Madrimov didn’t look drastically different on fight night. It means Bud’s moreso touching his peak or ideal weight class. Therefore Bud isn’t doing the traditional Top Rank weight cuts just to push a show as he was doing at 135. Same goes with Canelo. Canelo at 168 looking nothing like the 152-160 weigh ins. When Canelo fought Kovalev or Bivol the Mexican looked practically the same on fight night, but we can assume Canelo at least hydrated 8-10lbs. So Canelo was probably 185lbs tops. Bivol’s physically is drastically bigger than Canelo. At the very least 8lbs. Put Canelo next to Beterbiev and you’ll also see that the Russian is bigger. Some fans don’t like to accept that stars such as Bivol and Beterbiev do 15lb+ weight cuts. It’s ok! There’s no industry person nor narrative that said Canelo was bigger than Bivol or that Bivol was bigger than Beterbiev. The eye test don’t lie.
