I think athletes' career decisions should be made by people who post on message boards after all who is more capable of making such choices than us?

My point is that he hasnt changed to get more fit so it makes me think he is just past his prime and not world level anymore. It happens. But i think if he stays he will severly damage what legacy he has left. Getting beat by a young american prospect wont do him any good and thats what will happen if he stays

Your right, I think its time

Jermaine Taylor should consider retirement. Being a former Pro myself, and now a Gym owner and trainer I can honestly tell you he should consider it. He has alot to offer as a trainer. He could really do some good out there working with a youth development boxing program. He's still young, and has all that ring knowledge. He'd be good as a trainer. He should take a little time off and give it some thought., because if he keeps catching leather like that close fight or not, he will sustain damage. A fighter can only take so many shots. And Jermaine has been getting hit hard enough to get dropped. Thats bad... I have several friends that wish they would of listened when they were advised to hang em up. They didn't, and now they suffer everyday because of it. I just hope Jermaine really gives it some thought. He's a good kid, and I would hate to see him get hurt out there.
