A Brit here, and yes, Dirrell was robbed.

He did run, but what did you want him to do? Exchange and get knocked out?

He was still landing, and I thought his countering was pretty impressive.

I realise people get robbed in every country, but that doesn't mean you excuse it when it happens in your own. Dirrell deserved to win and I'm disappointed about the decision.

As fans we need to think of the sport, we can't reward running. It's not Spanish bullfighting, people don't want to watch that crap. They want to see a fight and only the champion wanted to fight, he deserved to keep his belt.

If he wants to run, he should join Tyson Gay. If he wants to run and call it fighting then he should be made to fight in a smaller ring, it's bad for the sport.

The irony of a Hatton fan telling us about the ethics of the game, Hatton is a WWE wrestler in there

I'm British and Dirrell blatantly won.

Boxing is based on hitting your opponent.

Dirrell did just that, it's just that Froch couldn't. Simple as.

wrong.... we need to keep the integrity of the sport together... that means no robberies.

I agree in part. His leaning did get annoying and it's not attractive to watch.

But he was fighting a guy that could have knocked him out with one clean punch.

And not everything he did was bad for the sport. In fact a lot of things were good. When I watch boxing, I don't just look at the fists. The way he slipped and rolled was impressive, his countering too. And his footwork is very sharp.

Froch didn't give us any of those things, which a boxing fan would inevitably admire. Is Froch, therefore, bad for the sport?
