This is of course partly why Teo is box office but what a nut job. Had the world at his feet with his fantastic performance against Taylor but that looks less impressive now. Why do boxers continue to make these sort of mistakes. Haney was never going to hurt him so it was always about the finer arts of the craft. Nought wrong with that.
Had heard it was going to be in Saudi which never made senseComment

What about Keyshawn Davis? It appears like Turki would've been willing to pay Teofimo for Ennis/Haney/Keyshawn. It seems like Teo had options, but he's getting in his own way.

Teo - for me, $11 million is transformational wealth.
I can't imagine walking away from that amount for one fight. It would alter the course of my family's futures (for the better)
for generations to come if managed wisely.
It's possible you might never see $11 million in total from the rest of your career.
Whatever, dude. You do you.
EDIT: Teo - I know you are reading this (and all my posts here). Take the Haney fight. You might lose a decision but you're not undefeated anyway. Haney will run and you won't get hurt. You're fast and you have some pop. You might even win.
$11 million. Sign the contract.Last edited by Left Hook Louie; 06-06-2025, 04:32 AM.Comment

Teo is an utter clown and he's gonna cry about these decisions later in life. Boxing is a very short window of opportunity where you can be hot s**t today but it'll soon be over. Look at Broner's career for example. And Teo isn't even that hot s**t. He's not a star and certainly not a superstar like he thinks.
That purported $11m is a good $8m more than he's worth and he's still gonna turn it down because he's worried he'll get outboxed by Haney? So f*****g what! He'll probably get outboxed by someone else instead in his next fight for a lot less money because he's not that good. Someone ought to remind him he lost to George Kambosos for crying out loud. $11m to try and chin Haney is an insanely good deal.Comment

Why ? WHY ? Why ? asked Arum so concerned about Teo's decision well really Arum is just worried about the money he will loose on the fight that is what that is about.
Let Teo walk, let several fighters walk from the Saudi King all the greed and hand holding that goes on all the false hype let it all come back on them all........good.Comment
