Always a class act and very much appreciated.
I hope he stays retired and doesn't fall into the trap of thinking he can come back.
A clean break will only enhance his legacy.

Maybe not anymore, but it should be.
I can't imagine boxing not being a core sport of the Olympics.

No one who watched the Haney fight actually believes he lost that fight. Haney and his dad knew they lost. Haney got a gift from Bob as the up and comer. Loma clearly won the fight. Everyone knows it.

Loma lost to Lopez in a close fight because he ******ly fought with a shoulder injury. That was on him. Lopez is good but a two handed Loma would have dominated him. He did in the last few rounds. But he lost and it was on him for not getting surgery.

Loma catches hell for being some kind of "great white hope" in the eyes of many. Which is idiotic. His skills were just sick. Crawford has the same type of dominant talent, he is a black dude. But for some reason even he is looked at poorly by many. Strange and I never understood it.

This fighter dared to be great. Tried to make history in winning a title against an established champs on his second fight. He took all available top competition and only Covid slowed him down a bit. His losses were close that could have gone his way and he fought heavier fighters.

Taking on Salido on 2nd and Russel Jr. on 3rd professional fight was crazy! Happy retirement champ! And good decision to call it quits now.

The Ukrainian wonder was an awesome fighter to witness, one of the very best.

Cannot ask for anything more. Retiring as a champion. He was fun to watch but you could see injuries and rust take their toll especially in his fights with Teo and Haney. For a guy who relies on movement and accuracy, those are not getting any better at age 37. I think this was a good choice for him to leave on top.

It's the right move. Retiring as a champion on the back of a dominant win.

                      Now, stay retired!
