How did Pacquiao lose money on a home purchased in 2009?

That's bad investments, and now he is forced to fight @ 46 years old... someone is robbing Pacquiao

2009! mansions dint hold value over time, look at Mike Tyson. he loss money when he sold his ohio mansion.

Pac doesn't live in LA and hardly visit unless he has a fight. at 46, this could be the last fight, so why keep a mansion that you hardly live in?

the same reason Floyd loss money after selling his mansion in Beverly hills.

Sold for $11.5 million, resulting in a $14 million loss compared to the $25.5 million purchase price in 2017. The property was originally listed for $48 million in October 2024

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has sold his Beverly Hills estate for $11.5 million, marking a staggering $14 million loss from his 2017 purchase price of $25.5 million. Originally listed for $48 million in October 2024, the property sold just six weeks later, suggesting a sense of urgency behind the sale. The sale has sparked speculation about Mayweather's finances, as the undefeated boxer, who has earned hundreds of millions of dollars throughout his career, is well known for his lavish lifestyle and carefree desire for luxury spending. With his career winding down, the sale could hint at financial recalibration for the man known as "Floyd Money Mayweather."

The ultra-rich often have multiple homes in various countries. Those homes are usually rented out to other wealthy people when the owner isn’t using them. And real estate being what it usually is, the homes in question are typically sold for a big profit when the owner is ready to sell.

                    image.pngimage.png

Manny Pacquiao sold his home for a loss in Southern California for $2million in 2023 after purchasing the home in 2009 for 2.17million.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather sold his home in Miami Florida for $22million in 2024 after purchasing the home for $18million in 2021.
Manny lives in Philippines. He can live a life of luxury there with less money than Mayweather and still live a better life. Has a wife and kids owns mansions there probably even owns an Island. Some of the best beaches in the world. I think Manny will be ok. Meanwhile Mayweather is nearly 50 still showing off money stacks on social media and walks around with a team of like 20 odd for security
