I’m swiftly losing interest in this fight that I had little interest in to begin with. Turki isn’t the second coming of the Christian messiah that the “first we wanted Hearn now we want Turki” crowd makes him out to be

This is what happens when you try to force feed a fight that nobody asked for. Brokers are quickly realizing fight a mismatch and it is likely to bomb anyway. He could have easily paid same money for Benavidez v Canelo and if Canelo doesn't want it, he could have said *** off. Where else is he going to get a $100 million dollar deal?

The fight will happen. This is just hot-air inside baseball nonsense and let’s be honest: Boxing Scene is not going to turn down any opportunity to root for Turki to fail.

This forum is so out of touch with reality it's hilarious. There's absolutely ZERO chance this fight bombs. It's gonna do crazy numbers just off the black vs Mexican angle alone. Canelo did 750k with Edgar berlanga. This fight will be the hottest ticket in town whenever it happens. It's gonna be massive. At the very least probably do a 40 mil live gate. Get real.

Boxing being held hostage is the wrong term, theres 4 months to go, they just jumped the gun in announcing & Dana is learning what it's like to wotk with the wealthy entitled to.
Turki wanting the fight at the same time as a ufc card takes money out of both pockets.

                What's Next Turki?

                Inoe vs Gervonta
                Gervonta vs Ennis

No one care about this match other than Crawford for his PAY DAY. He wants PAY DAY.

Turki foolishly viewed Canelo as the ***el in the crown rather than a diminishing force, so was prepared to do anything to get him. This meant conceding to pay big money for an inferior product.

Why tiring? Most boxing 'news' is speculation in lieu of anything substantive, just tune it out. If this fight doesn't happen it doesn't really impact anything.
