Who Wins Bernard Hopkins vs. Winky Wright?

Who do you think wins between Winky Wright and Bernard Hopkins? This fight could happen this year if Wright beats Trinidad.

Hopkins might have too much salsa for Winky to handle. If X plays Winky's game, I still think he can beat him. He can outbox him, as well as fight as the aggressor. Hopkins reach and height advantage might be key, and his ring experience and intelligence far surpasses Ronalds. I really do not foresee X having much trouble in sticking with a "gameplan". Winky might try and outbox him, but then again:

I doubt he has the necessary speed. Not to mention, Hopkins is a dirty fighter. I can not remember the last time Winky faced a threat in this manner. More than likely, the outcome of the fight would be a split decision favoring Hopkins. I would predict that it would be significantly more one sided though.

Taking weight into consideration is another matter. Hopkins is a natural light heavyweight. He seems to disagree however. He believes he is a "junior middle". LMAO

I personally think he looks like a "starved Elephant". His bone structure is made to carry around 185 lbs, despite his 28 inch waist.

I think Hopkins would win for the simple fact that these two are straight up boxers ....and if the fight goes to the twelve round it would eventually go to Hopkins in a decision....
I think right now Trinidad is the only one that has a chance against Hopkins if he doesnt just go blow for blow and instead uses some movement along with his power.

          hmm

This would be an interesting fight. Winky's style and Hopkins' age are the things that make it even more interesting. However, Winky has to be past his prime too at this point. I'll have to see what Winky looks like vs Tito first.

Really? I think Winky seems to be right in his prime as far as the balance between his ring knowledge and skills. Maybe not though.

Hmm...well, I have to disagree, but only somewhat. The simple fact is, Hopkins is out of his physical prime. That's why he had to run so much in the 1st half of the Eastman fight. It was smart, and his brain is as good as ever, but his body is not. People simply lose some abilities as they get older. You can only delay it by living healthily.

Hopkins experience helps him a lot, but physically he has to be very careful and who knows when his stamina will not be good enough to deal with the mental stress that comes in a fight vs a guy like Taylor (if he puts on pressure).

Vs Wright, pressure will be there, but no power, so Hopkins age will make the fight interesting, but it is likely that it won't be the deciding factor. That's my thoughts.

Are you people freaking kidding me? Bernard Hopkins would TKO that boy, but the fight would be pretty close before the stoppage. He'll stop Winky Wright...he'll stop 'em.

You have it all wrong here. Hopkins doesn't have the arches to dance on his toes like Winky does. Winky is so fast and fleet footed he reminds me of a prime Bonecrusher Smith the way he dances . Hopkins is too old to dance.
