He is still only a prospect. I hope their plan is not keep on fighting on that level and than fight for vacant belt when Usyk retires.

His next 2 -3 fights should include names like Hughie Fury, Franklin, Wallin, Vianello, Makhmudov.

If he beats that level ge is ready to take on somrbody like Bakole.

The WBO aren’t helping Itauma by doing this.

Frank Warren has always been very good at getting his fighters opportunities for a title shot. This is a perfect example of Frank working in the shadows to manufacture an opportunity for Moses.

I don`t think this is good for Moses. he is not ready at all, his best win is McKean who is not good and hasn`t beaten anybody worth of note, he is only famous for losing to Hrgovic.

            Itauma still must get tested.

If nobody else wants to fight him, give a call to Franklin or Lerena. Lerena gave Huni a very tough test.

We don't know if it is good or bad until he steps up and gets tested. It is pointless fighting opponents like the last two. Moses learns nothing. I just saw an article on another site where they are trading words with Zhang. Now, that would be a real test.

Itauma is ready - 100%. Resume is one marker, but it's not the only one , it's what you do and how you do it. He has the est rhythm of any HW not named Usyk. He can KO you with his lead hand moving backwards - no other HW has done this in decades. He's ready and only his chin needs to be tested but he can be strengthening with neck exercises every day to improve whatever natural resistance he has - did I say his footwork is faster than 95% of HWs out there?
Zhang would be a good fight. Hgrovic, Miller,Wardley, Hunis, but the isse is the management and the promoter - they wil be looking at his long term earnings and will steer him along the safest path.

This does not mean he will be wbo mandatory any time soon. The last WBO mandatory was Usyk in 2021. We are in 2025. Parker would be the next WBO mandatory as interim. From what i remember the last heavyweight mandatories were

                    Pulev (vs AJ) 2020 IBF
                    Usyk (vs AJ) 2021 WBO
                    Whyte (vs Fury) 2022 WBC
                    Dubois (vs Usyk) 2023 WBA

IBF was then next up. Hrgovic was IBF mando and interim. Dubois beat him and then elevated to full IBF champ once Usyk vacated. I think that moves IBF to back of the que.

So up next is Parker, he can either wait around till end of the year to fight the winner of Dubois Usyk, or he should have a fight next few months but he risks losing the WBO interim if he loses.
