The stand up straight, do not have upper body movement, and do not bend their knees. Are you going to tell me that Vaulev isn't the quintessential robot?

        What are you on about?

Valuev moves around the ring like a flyweight.

Just because he's as heavy as a jet, doesn't mean he's a 'fly weight.'

Euro fighters are more conventional than robotic.

Take a look at DLH, Alexis Arguello, hardly fluid fighters where they?

Oscar was also a robot, however he did bend his knees and move his upperbody from time to time.

Probably because robotic, slow, mechanical stiffs like Wlad Klitschko and Valuev are the face ofd European boxing.

Somewhere in the past, the stand up style "stigma" got fastened to European fighters. I am not sure why as there are fighters from around the globe that use that style.

If you look at how Naz fought for an example, he was one of the few that could actually mimic Sweat Pea's upper body movement and in some instances actually exceed it. Calzaghe was another one who seriously stepped all over and spit out that attachment.

It is not really a stigma though in my eyes. Some guys are just not as agile or fluid as others. As long as they can make what they do have work, that is good enough for me.
