Inoue left 118 after Dec ‘22 and Estrada was inactive from Dec ‘22 till mid 2024 against Bam at 115.

No doubt the fight should’ve happened at some point over the last 8-10 years, but Inoue’s been at 122 for 2 1/2 years, so why’d he wait this long if Inoue was the delay for the move to 118?

At 115, Chocolatito avoided Inoue like the plague.
Even to the pt of saying he wasnt interested in fighting Inoue.
            Estrada was even more silent.

Monster had so much trouble finding willing opponents there. Thats why he enrolled himself in the Super series.

Estrada also priced himself out of the Ioka fight.

Dont think Estrada likes to fight overseas.

Chocolatito was supposedly up to fight Inoue after the first Sor Rungvisai fight but then he got beaten, rematched him then got stopped. That’s why Inoue was in the audience for the Cuadras fight and was on the undercard for the SSR rematch, because HBO was trying to make that fight and Chocolatito was looking to unify. Inoue had sent an offer to Chocolatito after the first SSR fight but Chocolatito declined since he felt he’d have gotten more money for a Cuadras rematch. Had Chocolatito gotten past SSR then that fight probably would have happened. The timeline just never really worked out and Chocolatito had to work his way back toward title contention after the second SSR fight.
Estrada didn’t win a title at 115 until Inoue had already left the division.
SSR maybe could have fought Inoue within the time-frame. There wasn’t a lot of time to make that fight either though since Inoue left 115 after SSR stopped Roman Gonzalez. Cuadras, Yafai, and Ancajas would have been easier unifications for Inoue to have made at the time.
