You just want everyone to fight like a back alley brawl. Witless, plodding, flat footed, heedless of brain damage, bereft of defense. All stubborn aggression and no talent.

You want that, go pit two bums from behind your favorite pub against each other for a 3 pounds and a bottle of whiskey.

And you seriously can't be comparing Dirrell to great black American fighters. Dirrell is quick has potential, but needs alot of work.
It's called BOXING not RUNNING. You know full well fighting defensively doesnt always equate to fighting smart and it doesnt always equate to boring.

Many great examples like Pernell Whitaker and James Toney of American defensive fighters who fought defensively but never RAN and provided plenty of excitement and entertainment.

I see people comparing Dirrels performance to fLOYD last night jeez what a total insult..
Well gayweather runs and hugs just like Dirrell so the similarities are there.

      At least Dirrell switch hits.

Yes, skirting the ropes race-horse style is not a good look, and I have already admitted as much in another thread. Not even Mayweather, the one that probably catches the most hate for being evasive, takes it to Dirrell's point.

But that's Dirrell. The mistake made in this thread is trying to use his performance last night to implicate false charges of character on all black American fighters.

        come on dog.

why don't non-african americans learn how to cut off the ring better? that's a better solution than you crying!!!!
YOU MUST HAVE LOVED HECTOR CAMACHO SR. Especially with that Mosley won thing you got because of punch stats. Camacho would hit a guy 3 to 1 maybe more. He must be your idol.

Its a perfectly fair implication in opinion. Because who it was that implied that only black american fighters can have a slick defensive style???

Not all black american defensive fighters run during fights.....but even you have to admit anytime controversial topics like this come up it's always a black american fighter in question. Other defensive fighters like Calzaghe for as defensive and slick a style he possessed was never questioned for running because he engaged and stood his ground while maintaining his slick defensive style

B-hop,R Jones, Dirrell, Mayweather.. If you didn't enagage and come forward there would be no fight.
Because Black boxers focus on the other half of boxing. Not getting hit. It's not running it's called boxing.

they are only runners when their fav fighter gets exposed as a talentless tough man comp participant. these guys know nuthing about BOXING and the same goes for some of these judges who score fights.

I guess these same dudes fail to realize that their fave fighter's fave fighter is most likely BLACK. Inferiority complexes are real.

Lol, thread title made me laugh. But there's plenty of black fighter who goes toe to toe. Mosley, Williams, Berto etc. Also a look at history like Hagler, Foreman, Liston etc.
