It could be argued that the bum actually won the fight and that people just fell for the narrative of the Mora's of the world.

i dont believe someone like canelo would slack off in training.. like mentioned already. he's declining but can still compete at the top level.. his opponent didnt come to fight. not much you can do if the other guy doesnt wanna fight you. Put canelo in with someone who is willing to engage and you'll see the same canelo that we are used to seeing.

The fights were all mostly terrible, but on paper at least, I expected more out of the Friday card. Well maybe not so much with the Haney fight, but even what they gave was way less than I could of ever imagined. Then the main event, barring the knockdown, was mostly Garcia hesitant to really trade the rest of the fight. He looked very human in there compared to the way he bullied through Haney when he was on PEDs.

Saturday night was just a travesty on all accounts. I had folks over to watch, food, drinks and holy hell was I saddened to say this was the "entertainment" for the night. It WASN'T ENTERTAINING. It was so bad during the Canelo fight, I made offers to switch over to a comedy special because folks were just BORED.

Thank gawd for Inoue last night, however of course nobody saw that who came Saturday. Nor did most of the world because of the day and time it aired. Plus you obviously had to be aware it was going to be happening on Sunday night which for most folks, they never imagine there is live boxing on a Sunday night.
