  • Comments Thread For: Canelo vs. Scull and Times Square shows skewered

In a scorching rebuke of Canelo Alvarez?s lackluster Saturday victory to reclaim the undisputed super-middleweight title against William Scull, the cast of ProBox TV?s ?Boxing Scene Today? undressed the poor quality of the first two Cinco de Mayo weekend cards hosted by Saudi Arabia?s Turki Alalshikh

    It's mind blowing to me.

Shakira and hankey fight like scull: they win
Scull fights like Shakira and hankey: loses

Can someone explain this to me?

A low number of hits equals NO PEDS. And that's it. If Alanish applies the drug tests, then those fights were an example of the physical level we'll see in the near future.

I thought Scull schooled Canelo but the biased paid commentary has to warp everyone view of what happened as to not hurt the Canelo/Bud fight.

are you saying that the fights were enjoyable, and this is just sour g****s on their part? I beg to differ. Friday and Saturday were the worst displays of boxing I've seen in recent years.

                    From the article:
"(Disclosure: BoxingScene was not credentialed for either the Times Square or Alvarez-headed Saudi Arabia cards)."

Not that (the lack of) press credentials has anything to do with the actual criticism of the events.
