I was at the fight. This is how I saw it.

Close fight, could have gone either way by the odd point, I would have no complaints if Dirrel had taken the decision.
However.
Dirrel Ran like a *****, did too much holding and falling over when he thought he might get hit, complained and cried like a baby throughout. ( This did him no favours )
Im not sure Dirrel did enough to Take the title from Carl.
Poor fight with only one guy trying to make a fight of it.

Dirrel is just a faster Mathew Barney.

I had Dirrell in front, but his dramatics and the fact Froch chased and tried to force the fight lost him it.

The fat yanks get all the decisions on their home turf. The fact of the matter is they can't fight outside of their own country without kicking up a fuss of some sort.

We're pissed because this is boxing, not MMA. If we are scoring fights you have to award fighters for crisp and effective punching. Just because you don't like to see fighters moving around the ring doesn't mean you should automatically give the fighter points strictly on ring generalship. If was a robbery, Froch landed nothing while Dirrell BOXED his ears right off. Cleaner punching, effective punching, great movement, and slipping every punch is how you win in boxing. I forgot that brits cheer for fighters that hit thing air aka Joe Calzaghe. If you want to make this sport MMA go make a new sport, this is boxing and Dirrell put on a damn clinic.

sad that the 3 Americans in this competition aren't THAT good; Ward & Dirrel still young PRO fighters & Taylor already had some terrible losses.

americans generally are emotianal crying cowards with extreme bias. the froch-dirrell fight wasnt even close to be as bad of a robbery as Lewis-Holyfield one but all the americans offcourse has forgotten this and belives holyfield actually won that fight hahahahahaha

Lewis beat Holyfield, just like Dirrell beat Froch. I am not biased. I just don't score points to boxers who hit air.

I don't care how much Dirrell moved. He landed the more effective and powerful punches throughout the night. He boxed Froch. Sure I would have liked to see him sit down more especially when he proved after the point deduction that he could dominate Froch by doing so.

No crying here. Taylor got beat and proved he probably doesn't belong in this tourney. Even though I really like Taylor I am not crying about it. I think Dirrell won. Look up how the ABC says to correctly judge a professional boxing match and tell me who won.Froch was aggressive but it stipulates "effective aggressiveness". Froch was not effective because Dirrell was to fast and slippery for him.

in no fan of dirrell and actually strongly dislike his style of fighting and ever since the curtis stevens fight on hbo where he put on a horrible performance i have been wanting to watch him get kod but he clearly won this fight
