I agree. His knockouts were both the quality of opposition and weight. He was always very big at 135 so he was knocking people out but once he moved to 140 his power advantage was gone.

At 147 it will be even worse. Boots is like a middleweight in the ring and will be huge compared to Teo who will not be able to hurt him at all. Not only that but skill for skill they are probably about equal.

Having said all that, props to Teo for having the balls and wanting to challenge himself.

He made the same defensive errors. Barbosa wasn't strong enough or good enough to make Teofimo pay. Based on what I saw, Teo is not ready for a 147 Boots. He'll get knocked out....or beat up bad.
It was a comfortable win and he looked confident. Barboza did nothing to try to be competitive. I have said before this that Teo should stay at 140 for a while. He isn't a huge 140 and Boots is a big 147. Try to get some unifications at 140

I agree. Teofimo looked really small at the weigh-in and in the ring. He really wasn't tested or threatened. How could he possibly look bad?

He still looks vulnerable if you ask me. I really thought that he was working on some things. He has not.

I do not see how he could beat Boots. I wouldn't even get in the ring with Rolly if I were Teofimo......Not without making improvements.

Teo often fights to his level of competition, but he's rose to the occasion and did his best in his biggest fights. Dude is kinda like Fury that way.

I was surprised teo won. I thought there would be an upset because Barboza had the momentum after 2 good wins in the last 6 months whereas Teo had been out for nearly a year. Well done Teo, very good win.

Completely agree. Prior to this card it was generally accepted that this was the only potential upset. Not a big Teo fan, but he put on, by far, the best performance of the night. Against what everyone seemed to agree was the toughest competition, of course in hindsight everyone will say Barboza was spent or garbage. But give the man his due. NOBODY else has the balls to call out Boots. Haney goes to sleep hoping he doesn't have nightmares about facing him.
Obviously Boots will destroy Teo, but I believe that Teo believes, he can win.

I think there is an argument for putting Teo in the top ten p4p list.
