2 kd bodyshots straight in the blob. Hard to gauge that performance, considering the comp.

Silly stoppage. 10 of those 12 punches landed on the gloves Polina was out of shape...but he got up twice so it wasnt like he didnt want to give Verde rounds. He would have played out his role if the ref let him.

At least the card is moving fast. This should be another quick stoppage.

Did Riakporhe have an opponent pull out and I’m just drawing a blank, or was this always going to be a tune up type of fight in Riak’s heavyweight debut ?

I do expect Espindola to give him rounds though

Whats with the scar? Did Riakhpore have open heart surgery?

I’ve seen him against a few prospects, he knows how to survive and isn’t a complete slouch in there .

Frazer Clarke is the only one that stopped him , and that was a “injury” He took Itauma distance. Riak may clip him at some point, but I wouldn’t be shocked if we go all 8

Well the credentials and the backing, might not mean he will live up to expectations, but he looks promising. Think Gael Cabrera, Brandon Mosqueda from WBC grand prix and Bonilla twin brothers have similiar backgrounds though not as decorated along with not fighting on the Olympics.

Verde went to the finals of the Olympics being a pretty close bout with Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev for the gold, beating well touted amateurs like Lewis Richardson and Nishant Dev (1-1). He also beat Omari Jones X2 in the amateurs.

He had beat Roniel Iglesias on a unofficial IBA pro fight where Marco got hurt initially of the 2 round, recovered quickly with a clinch and took over until Iglesias was unable to continue after an injured hand from 5th round to the 7th. Verde was too static like let's say Madrimov but left himself open to win on points thinking he can risk taking a punch to throw combinations.

By the way way why is Riakhpore fighting a opponent that is coming from a 4 month Coma along with having a major losing streak.
