sparring is harder than grappling, in a sparring match that is kind of heavy with someone evenly matched or slightly better than you there isn't a way to just hold and lay there thinking about what to do for 2 minutes.

People with vision impairments pretty much only have grappling as an option. You can do Judo/Jiu-Jitsu while blind, but a blind striker is dead.
People with thick torsos, lower centers of gravity can be more difficult to move around.
Some people just plain can't take a punch.
Im the opposite of those I got long arms and medium torso unless you consider a big chest as a thick torso

long arms and medium torso would be better i think than short arms and a long torso, a long flexible body is better than a short inflexible body

When I first started boxing, people weren’t super chatty or helpful, just rocking my **** for fun. It actually put me off boxing.

When I started jits those guys were really welcoming, respectful and it was just drilling for the noobs and getting a feel for it before getting wrecked.

Obviously all gyms are different but I think Jits gyms are a lot more welcoming. Times are changing though and so are boxing gyms with it.
