    Good post!

Actually didn't watch this fight and now I'm gutted I missed out as I was working. I also just felt it wasnt a natural fight to make. I was wrong! But I still prefer to use my discernment to figure out what might be a good fight regardless of the levels.

There are definitely fans on here who prefer to see a top world title holder smash an out-of-his depth mandatory and not take a punch in anger. I never really get that. It's not top level boxing.

It's not top level sport generally. It killed boxing.

As you get older a lot fans can use their discernment to figure out what might be a genuine 50/50 and thus worth paying for. I'm gonna watch Dave Allen and Johnny Fisher. I'm not going to watch Canelo vs William Scull.

Butt stuff Butt stuff likes this.

Conning the public? Who cares if either win a world title if they fight like that? Some rando who likely ******s every fight anyway.

Have rarely enjoyed a Eubank fight but you may as well watch another sport if you think you've been conned.

people often forget the advantages a smaller fighter has

Look how often heavyweights can struggle with ex cruiserweights. The speed and ability advantage can be hard to get to grips with.

We've seen countless fighters go through weights and give bigger fighters a lot of issues

This is especially the case when the big man doesn't fight in a big man style. Canelo is an example, he'll stand and box you, he's not gonna grab you, rag doll you etc..

Eubank is the same, albeit a lower level, but his game is isn't a "big man" style. He tries to box and gives you room to work, which suits a small opponent.

that's why I think Crawford v Canelo is a real fight. Canelo's whole game is to box with you and purely boxing a smaller, quicker man is very difficult at times.
