    I use the term skilled very loosely.

    Both guys showed heart, grit and desire so props for that.

    But in terms of skill there was a distinct lack of technique and quality throughout.

    It was like a memorable British title fight. Gomez vs Arthur. Maybe not even that level tbh.

      I think he meant "equally skilled" as in fighters of similar skill level...not that the combatants illustrated elite-level skill. I think his last word summed up the fight.

      I think this is the second fight between Brits that is a FOTY candidate, the other being Buatsi/Smith. While Buatsi/Smith was more important from a championship standpoint, it lacked the crowd/atmosphere that Benn/Eubank had.
