Another thread..my same response ...i am from the UK and i didnt want Dirrel to win but i thought Dirrel won that fight....but then he was very negative at times....and if your gonna win a world title you've got to win it big....he was trying to steal it at times...he said he didn't know why the ref took a point but he was like a sailor holding on to a mast at times....you cant win a title like in the eyes of judges!
That being said IMO Dirrel won that fight

I really can't say that I'm impressed with either boxers' performances last night. As a fan of both Joe and Carl, I can easily say that Carl's win doesn't prove his record surpasses Joe's - it does quite the opposite. The manner in which Froch won that fight showed me that he would have little chance beating Joe if he fought the way he did last night. In all honesty, I think Froch was off his game, he didn't look as solid as he did against JT and Pascal and he's going to have to get a lot more serious if he wants to bring the Super Six trophy home. He'll see the tape from last night, hopefully he gets the wake-up call.

Froch will never achieve as much as Calz, but he IS more entertaining. Joe was too much about figuring out his opponents and taking his time. That could be a little frustrating to watch.

Crotch is so entertaining punching air. Calzaghe throws more and has a way better connect ratio. Calzaghe is much more entertaining. Two fights in a row for Crotch being outboxed and Dirrell having the better overall jab and left hooks.
