I'm not sure TR actually cares if Norman loses to Sasaki. If TR perceived him as an asset, they would give him a hometown fight to begin developing his drawing power. Or is this a situation of TR being stingy with their budget? Is there any news in regards to their post-ESPN future?

I think the other story here is TR being up to their usual behavior: keeping fights in-house and limiting unifications. TR and Ohashi have a solid relationship. If Sasaki beats Norman, Norman will probably get an immediate rematch and/or Sasaki will become Inoue's co-main counterpart. Coupled with Barrios fighting ancient Pacquiao and Pacquiao calling out Tank......yeah I think it's time for Team Ennis to seriously consider moving up. He's not capturing Undisputed, he needs to let that dream die.
Norman traveling 7,000 miles to fight in a 4000 capacity venue, seriously?

I mentioned Barrios/Pacquiao and Pacquiao/Davis, which is an example of PBC limiting unifications and their penchant for in-house matchmaking. However, PBC's power level has drastically decreased....therefore they are outsourcing their talent with greater frequency. How many champions does PBC have?

People do say **** about PBC and Al Haymon, actually. And they deserve it.
But what’s wrong with telling the truth about Top Rank? We know that they withdraw access to their fighters when boxing media asks too many tough questions. So it’s up to us, the fans, to provide honest criticism and try to hold them accountable.

I’ve heard of Top Rank holding WBO belts hostage with in-house fights. And denying access to their fighters if you are a boxing media person who doesn’t kiss their ass.Comment
