Whew - was worried the check wouldn’t clear -
They got Ryans purse after all the crap they allowed. Even if Ryan cheated, he paid Haney for an uncontracted advantage. What Ryan couldn't do was moot after Haney took the money. In effect, by accepting side money, Haney told Ryan that he could beat him under any circumstances. That screwed up the odds and the title exposure and all the bets. How are they going to take his purse after they knew he wasn't coming right? They should have stuck to their rules and some kind of ethics.Comment

In defense of the spectators and sports fans. Why didn't this commission say. We don't allow our champions to take bribes? Side money? We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for cash driven indulgence. Stick to the rules, turn down the mazoola and get the next guy at 140.Comment
