Smith needed this 12 rounds more than he realizes. Fighters learn nothing when their opponents are falling over in the first couple rounds. Puello isn't going down easy either.

Regardless if Puello beats Smith, it doesn't change the fact that Puello has dominated no world-level opponent.

Your right just can’t see Smith anywhere close to Puello
Puello’s return fire will not be what it was today

The likely outcomes: Puello winning a decision, or Smith winning by KO. The important differences between Puello/Germain: Puello is taller (eye level with Smith i think), he stands his ground more, and he's southpaw.

He dominated neither one iirc. Puello does have the experience edge though. However, Smith isn't like Martin or Russell.

Puello definitely has the better wins, but Russell/Martin fights do not completely reflect what Puello/Smith will look like. Germain is shorter and was usually presenting a crouching/mobile target. I think Puello will be more comfortable standing his ground, and that plays into Smith's style and strengths. Smith is a counter-puncher, so Puello's strategy should be to force Smith to keep resetting.
