Devin didn't want the smoke, Loma didn't want the smoke, Tank didn't want the smoke, Frank Martin didn't want the smoke, Pitbull didn't want the smoke, and Schofield didn't want the smoke. If Shakur were an Eastern European called Shakurovich Stevensonov, everybody would be calling him the most avoided fighter in boxing.
Dont lie Shakira is a coward, only runs and holds. Nobody is scared of that diva.

In boxing having long arms and a small torso can be a benefit.
True they are faster but have less honor and pride, resorting to holding and not fighting. They get mad when someone mentions Asians are smarter but always say they are the fastest, they use the race card whenever it suitts them.

The script for this fight has been written a long time ago. We all know what happens. Zapeda goes forward swings and misses, Shakur runs backwards, counters from time to time, piles up the points and wins a unanimous, boring points decision. He stuns Zapeda a couple of times with counters but does not follow up with anything significant and never lets his hands go but settles for another points victory. On the forum we argue for a few days about whether Shakur was running all night (or just boxing smart) and whether he deserves the win and Zapeda followers argue that Zapeda was aggressive enough, forced the fight, threw more punches and deserved a win or at least a draw.

Who? Shakur complaining about his paycheck in the initial offer? And Turki made an adjustment? Yeah, I have to wonder what happens when Turki exits boxing.

Didn't even read this very comments thread before attempting to contribute, huh?

we are going to see a clinic in this fight

              either

              1. the slickster is tracked down by the relentless punching machine who finds a way to win in the end
              2. the pressure fighter is totally bamboozled by the annoying opponent who somehow avoids a lot of his firepower while landing his own clean shots to impress the judges
              3. none of the above

Boxing aside, what are Mexicans good at? Please don't say soccer(football).... I remember the year they beat Germany and were ecstatic. Argentina tapped that azz and they calmed that noise again. I really want to know. You told me what Blacks are good at....

Zepeda barely skated by farmer who is basically the older less talented temu version of shakur. Shakur wins this 12 rounds to zip. Easy peasy

It's hard to beat a guy that is going backwards and clinching all night like Farmer did. Is that Shakurs strategy as well?
