this doesnt bode well for Bena should he fight Bivol
i think that fight is 50/50

Smith would be a top 3 victory for David B.

which makes Alvarez duck of Mexican David extra silly

Alvarez would be clear favorite and probably beat him

David B is a good fighter but probably not great

            I believe he’s this era’s Fernando Vargas

I don't think Benavidez has shown that he is a monster puncher, In fact if you really think about it, Callum Smith was a more proven and powerful puncher than Benavidez at 168 pounds and thus-far at 175 pounds'.

I think it is a close fight to call 'The determining factor being, whether Benavidez can seriously hurt Smith. If Benavidez struggles to hurt Smith, enough to stop him in his tracks. Then I think Callum Smith has the ability to win the fight over the distance'.

Note: I see people attempting to down play Callum Smith's win vs Joshua Buasti 'When in reality? Callum Smith vs Joshua Buasti was a higher level fight than David Morrell Junior vs David Benavidez. Buasti was an Olympic Bronze Medallist, and a more proven solid fighter at 175 pounds than David Morrell Junior'.

If the fight between Callum Smith and David Benavidez is made 'I don't think Benavidez is the biggest power puncher in the fight. Benavidez has never been known for his single punch power, whereas Callum Smith definitively has more proven single punch power. David Benavidez's best skill attribute is his ability to produce punch combinations, apply pressure without much of reset. But his defense is not the best, and in my opinion he is a very hittable target for a fighter with Callum Smith's boxing ability'.

To conclude: I just personally think David Benavidez before the accumulative negative effects of weight draining himself to fight at 168 pounds 'If that version of Benavidez would have fought Smith at 168 pounds. Then Benavidez would have been more of a danger for Smith. Now that David Benavidez is fighting closer to his natural fighting weight, I don't think he is the intimidating fighter than he was at 168 pounds. Callum Smith is not going to be overhauled by the skill level of Benavidez, or his physicality'.

I would still make David Benavidez the favourite to win the fight 'But for sure Callum Smith in my opinion, skill for skill has the potential to execute the better fight. And Smith's power may be greater than Benavidez at 175 pounds, which may be a determining factor in who wins the fight' etc.

If you think Callum Smith is more skilled than Benavidez you need to stop writing long essays pretending you understand boxing. David is more skilled than Smith in every way.

Note: I see people attempting to down play Callum Smith's win vs Joshua Buasti 'When in reality? Callum Smith vs Joshua Buasti was a higher level fight than David Morrell Junior vs David Benavidez. Buasti was an Olympic Bronze Medallist, and a more proven solid fighter at 175 pounds than David Morrell Junior'.
lol. That was a domestic level fight between 2 fighters who showed no ability to avoid punches to the face. Morrell Benavidez was a high level fight between 2 elite fighters. Callum Smith got walked down and beat up by John Ryder and needed a robbery to get past him. His best win was over a shot Groves. He is a C level fighter.

Alvarez 7-5 Benavidez followed by an immediate rematch that Benavidez wins due to the age of Alvarez

they then go onto have a trilogy

Alvarez has the better right hand, overall punching technique, and power

                both guys get gassy

Benavidez habitually gets off balance when throwing his straight right

has a wild sloppy left hook when tired that a Rusty Gvozdyk countered in the championship rounds with a cross

and returns his jab low all while regularly jabbing with his right hand down. This why Morrell hurt Benavidez with that counter right hook. Explosive Alvarez or Bivol would counter this faulty jab with a cross or hook
                TBF and dismissing the hype
I wish he would fight Benny instead of Bud
                Just to shut MFers up

I have confidence Nelo would win and haters will say the dumbest shlt
                No need for a rematch

                But yeah
                Sometime 2026\

He has sights on a Biv rematch,

Because he’s a monster weight cutter 57 pounds who walked around at 225 when he fought at 168

if Callum goes the championship rounds we see if he can take advantage of Benavidez slowing down
                    he means Benavidez sparring stories

Benavidez admitting that he’s a monster weight cutter
